Our principal and staff

Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Oakville Public School a welcoming and inclusive school community built on more than 100 years of educational excellence. Set in a beautiful semi-rural environment, our school combines proud traditions and a strong school culture with innovative, outward-looking programs that ensure we are always striving to be our best for our students and community.
Oakville Public School is proud of its strong academic results and high expectations for every student. Our dedicated teachers deliver engaging, evidence-informed learning programs that support all learners to achieve success and reach their full potential. Alongside academic excellence, students are provided with enriching opportunities in sport, creative arts, technology and leadership to develop confidence, character and a love of learning.
We educate the whole child. Student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do, with a strong focus on connection, belonging and positive relationships. Our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) values foster respect, responsibility and pride, creating a safe and supportive environment where students are empowered to strive for success and contribute positively to their community.
At Oakville Public School, strong partnerships between school and home help create a caring and inspiring environment where children flourish academically, socially and emotionally.
We warmly welcome new families to discover the opportunities, community spirit and excellence that make our school so special.
